JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and support of the IT systems and infrastructure of the organization. This includes hardware, software, networks, and related equipment used in service operations, customer systems (such as POS), surveillance, and communications. The Technician will ensure that all technology tools support efficient, secure, and uninterrupted business operations across all branches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hardware & Software Support

·     Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, POS systems, tablets, cellular phones and other devices.

·     Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across all locations.

·     Manage and update service and inventory tracking software, employee time tracking, and performance monitoring systems.

·     Support app development and app management to ensure smooth operation of the company’s app.

 

Network & Connectivity

·       Monitor and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) across branches.

·       Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues both at Head Office and the branches.

·       Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for troubleshooting and to ensure minimal downtime.

 

Security Systems & Surveillance

·       Maintain and support CCTV systems, including camera function, recording integrity, and remote access.

·       Secure all systems against unauthorized access or vulnerabilities.

·       Manage backup and recovery processes for key digital assets.

 

Customer-Facing Technologies

·       Ensure smooth operation of payment systems, online booking portals, and customer feedback tools.

·       Provide tech support for company’s App and ensure timely resolution of bugs or updates.

 

Support & Training

·       Provide basic training to staff on tech tools, mobile apps, and platforms used.

·       Maintain documentation on IT procedures and troubleshooting guides.

 

Asset Management

·       Maintain inventory of all IT equipment including cellphones and software licenses.

·       Recommend upgrades, replacements, and new technology tools aligned with business goals.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICTIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an IT support or technician role.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, Office 365, networking protocols, and basic database operations.
  • Experience with POS systems, surveillance systems (DVR/NVR), and cloud tools are a strong advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between branches.
