Our Company is on the lookout for a forward-thinking Junior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. If you are passionate about working with a leader in the industry, this could be the job for you!

What you will do:

·       Accounts Payables Duties:

o   Assist with disbursement and reconciliation for TTD Petty Cash

o   Generate Payment Vouchers, Issue & account for all Cheque Transactions

o   Generate Payment Vouchers, Issue, and account for all Petty Cash Transactions

o   Account for all Credit Vendor Transactions & Update Aged Payables Accounts & Summary

o   Reconciliation of supplier accounts monthly

o   Enter all transactions stated above onto Sage

o   Scan and attach all relevant invoices and backup documentation onto Sage

·       Accounts Receivables Duties:

o   Assist in generating Sales Invoices when required, inclusive of acquiring relevant backup documents.

o   Attach copies of the Sales Invoices files to the relevant Transaction on Sage

·       Payroll: Bi-Weekly

o   Acquire Employee Timesheets & acquire relevant backup documents

o   Calculate Employee Hours and Generate payroll timesheets onto Excel workbook

o   When required, post to MicroPay and generate Payroll reports for processing

o   Print & Distribute Employee Pay slips

o   Assist in Reconciling accumulated wages to generate annual TD4 slips and issue same

o   Reconciliation of all employee loan and reimbursement accounts

o   Assist with Monthly Statutory Payments – NIS & BIR

·       Inter-Company Accounts

o   Liaise with Sister Companies to ensure inter-company transactions & relevant documents are recorded and accounted for on Sage.

·       Other:

o   Filing of all accounts-related documents, ensuring all relevant information is attached

o   Assist with general office administration duties

o   Provide Support to Senior Account and upper Management as necessary

Requirements:

·       At least 3 years’ experience in a Junior Accounting position

·       Persons with experience working for a transportation/trucking company or in the construction industry will be strongly considered

·       Must have experience with Sage or QuickBooks

·       Completion of level one in ACCA

·       Computer literate with an intermediatory level in Excel
