Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is hiring a Lab Supervisor to join our Team.

What you will do:

·       Responsible for timely and proper sample receipt, sample handling, analyses, disposal and other management tasks.

·       Responsible for ensuring all the essential laboratory functions are completed on a daily basis.

·       Ensures effective planning, workload delegation, resource management inclusive of inventory management, procurement and personnel.

·       Ensures all Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the standard operating procedures, test methods and Accreditation Standard are executed in all areas of operations.

Requirements

·       University degree in the field of Natural Sciences or equivalent

·       Comprehensive understanding of ISO 17025 standards

·       At least 5 years’ experience in a similar portfolio  

·       Project/Operations Management Training

·       Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task

·       Ability to work independently

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·       Sound understanding of the standard operating procedures manual, test methods manuals and all appropriate technical/operational protocols.

·       Any other relevant combination of education, experience and training would be           considered
