Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to strengthen the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering Department through technical leadership, mentoring and engineering support for critical electrical and instrumentation assets.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and mentor Electrical and Instrumentation Engineers.

·        Optimize the reliability and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.

·        Lead troubleshooting, failure investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.

·        Support preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programmes.

·        Provide engineering input for equipment upgrades, design reviews and commissioning.

·        Prepare technical reports, maintenance strategies and specifications.

·        Support contractors and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection and Projects.

Technical Competencies

·        Medium and Low Voltage systems, transformers, motors, MCCs and VFDs.

·        Instrumentation including control valves, analyzers, PLC/DCS interfaces and Fire & Gas systems.

·        Reliability Engineering (RCA, FMEA, RCM).

·        CMMS/SAP PM, Maximo or equivalent.

·        IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ISA and hazardous area standards.

Qualifications & Experience

·        Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.

·        Minimum 8–10 years' experience within Oil & Gas or heavy industrial facilities.

·        Strong background in reliability and maintenance engineering.

·        HV/LV, CompEx, BEPECT or CMRP certifications are an asset.
