You will be responsible for coordinating the communication and documentation process related to the importation and exportation of goods purchased by the Company from foreign suppliers and customers.
· Coordinate the movement of goods after the procurement personnel have completed relevant purchase orders and received order acknowledgements.
· Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, insurers, brokers, to ensure that the documentation for shipments and the goods are delivered in keeping with agreed timelines.
· Assist with warranties and liaise with suppliers for items under warranty for repair/replacement.
· Responsible for the coordination of drop shipments & export shipments.
· Process and follow-up on insurance claims for damaged/missing goods.
· Liaise with Finance Department for payment of duties, VAT, etc. to Customs & Excise Division.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
· 5 O’Level passes including Mathematics and English
· Minimum of CIPS Level 3 or equivalent
· BSc. in Business Management
