Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Offshore Welders/Fabricators to support maintenance, repair and modification activities on offshore energy facilities. Candidates should possess strong Fabrication and Welding capabilities and be willing to work within rotational offshore environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational performance.
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of Two (2) years experience as a Welder/Fabricator. Previous Oil & Gas experience is preferred.
Experience performing maintenance, repair and modification activities on operating facilities is an asset.
A minimum of Four (4) CSEC/CXC subjects (including Mathematics, English Language) or High School Diploma.
Welding Craft Diploma.
Any other applicable Welding Shop Certification/ Diploma or Equivalent.
TBOSIET/ BOSIET/FOET, HUET and Offshore Medical preferred. Working at heights and Confined Space Certifications will be an asset.
Valid Passport and Certificate of Character are mandatory.
Any other suitable combination of training and or experience in the related field will be strongly considered.
Required Skills
Ability to work safely in offshore environments.
Knowledge of offshore structural drawings, piping Isometrics, fabrication drawings, maintenance work packs and P & IDs.
Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) Systems.
Understanding of offshore HSSE Requirements.
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary offshore maintenance team environment.
Willingness to travel and mobilize to offshore and regional assignments.
Effective time management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask.
