Production/Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

We are seeking a hands-on Industrial or Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience to support production operations in a small manufacturing facility.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

·         Oversee procurement and inventory to ensure uninterrupted production

·         Plan and optimize production to maximize throughput and minimize waste

·         Drive continuous improvement using data, process analysis, and efficiency initiatives

·         Implement and enforce quality control systems in line with ANSI standards

·         Manage equipment lifecycle: maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

·         Lead, train, and supervise production teams to achieve operational targets

·         Source and manage vendors, equipment, and technical resources

·         Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience supervising technicians and machine operators
  • Proven experience developing and managing scheduled maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies will be an asset

Working Conditions
