Summary

The Project Coordinator provides administrative, technical, and operational support to ensure Hydro Tech projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within scope, schedule, and budget. The role supports multi-discipline operations — including scaffolding, rigging, lifting, painting, blasting, equipment, and logistics — by coordinating planning, resource deployment, and execution. The Coordinator also maintains client relationships, assists in identifying new business opportunities, and supports proposals and tenders for upcoming work.

Required Competencies & Skills

• Strong coordination and multitasking skills across multiple work fronts.

• Working knowledge of scaffolding, rigging, lifting, painting, blasting, and logistics operations.

• Understanding of equipment readiness, inventory tracking, and maintenance scheduling.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

• Business awareness and client relationship management skills.

• Ability to interpret project drawings, schedules, and work scopes.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a project coordination role within energy, construction, or industrial services sectors.

• Certification or training in Rigging & Lifting Operations will be an asset.

• Experience coordinating equipment, material, and logistics functions is preferred.
