Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations oversight: Manage daily operations, including opening and closing the restaurant, and ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.
  • Customer satisfaction: Ensure an exceptional guest experience by addressing feedback, handle complaints, and maintain high service standards.
  • Staff management:  Collaborate with the HRM to hire, train, schedule, and motivate employees to provide excellent service.
  • Financial management: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and analyse financial reports to improve profitability.
  • Compliance and safety: Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Inventory and purchasing: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and order supplies as needed to maintain product availability and control costs.
  • Marketing and strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing Team Lead on marketing efforts and implement strategies to attract customers and increase revenue. 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: A degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration/Management
  • Proven Experience:  A minimum of 4 years’ experience as restaurant manager/general manager or a similar senior management role is essential.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to manage the fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Adaptability: The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems.
