The Sales & Billings Clerk will support the Sales Department by preparing invoices and transfers, liaising with customers and assisting with marketing initiatives using data from relevant reports.
Job Duties
· Billings for local customers
· Liaising with drivers to co-ordinate collections and ensuring that all customer cheques are collected.
· Monthly preparation of sales reports
· Preliminary costing analyses
· Updating costings and prices on Point-of-Sale system
· Updating of wholesale brochure with stock updates, new products, and price changes.
· Assisting with advertising and marketing initiatives
· Maintaining listing for special prices given to customers.
· Responsible for ensuring the showroom is properly stocked
· Assisting sales representative as necessary with queries
· Mollowing up with customers on issues that may arise.
· Daily monitoring of social media channels ensuring timely response
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong influencing skills.
· Being organized and strong time management skills.
· Must be able to work to deadlines.
· Detail oriented
· Good interpersonal skills
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of products
