POSITION SUMMARY

Manages the Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Billings, in addition to compiling financial statements, reviewing data, month-end and year-end closings, tax returns, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting. Ensures financial compliance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Direct Reports: Seven                                                             Indirect Reports: Two

RESPONSIBILITES

1. Supervises the Finance Team, ensuring implementation of the Company’s financial and operational strategies, through motivation, effective mentorship, training and development and performance management.

2. Review vendor and customer reconciliations for all companies.

3. Liaise with Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) on tax matters.

4. Review fortnightly and monthly payrolls.

5. Forward monthly credit card statements to Managers; forward the payments spreadsheet to the

Accounts Payable Supervisor to apply to the advance account.

6. Review monthly financials including Balance Sheet reconciliations 

7. Enter manual journals 

8. Review bank reconciliations for all companies.

9. Prepare schedules to submit to Eximbank.

10. Review monthly intercompany summaries.

11. Review promotions accruals spreadsheet.

12. Calculate depreciation and maintain the fixed assets register.

13. Assist with the preparation of monthly corporate templates.

14. Assist with the preparation of the consolidated corporate template for Trinidad.

15. Prepare the quarterly Group consolidated financial package.

16. Prepare draft statutory financials for all 3 standalone companies.

17. Prepare draft consolidated statutory financials 

18. Prepare all audit schedules for the Auditors; liaise with the Auditors for all queries.

19. Coordinate year-end stock count and prepare analysis.

21. Assist with the yearly budget preparation

22. Execute all relevant responsibilities as outlined in the Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities Matrix (MT-GM-004) to ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS).

23. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

§ Professional Accounting Qualification such as the ACCA or equivalent.

§ Capability in verbal and written communication in Spanish will be an asset.

EXPERIENCE

§ A minimum of seven (7) years’ progressive accounting experience with at least three (3) years at a Supervisory level.

§ Experience in manufacturing operations and commercialization will be an asset.

§ Demonstrated knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, economic principles, applicable financial laws, codes and regulations.

§ Working knowledge of an accounting software.

§ Working knowledge of an ERP system.

§ Working knowledge of statistics.
