Job Summary:

The primary function of the Senior Administrative Assistant is to provide high level administrative support to the General Management Team by performing a variety of confidential administrative duties, and to supervise the daily Administrative operations of the Company in an efficient manner.  

For this position, you should be able to use your organizational skills to manage the office requirements and your time, as you will collaborate with suppliers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ultimately, you should be able to effectively support senior management and ensure that the day-to-day office operations run smoothly. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and schedule the daily functions of the Administrative Department
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers.
  • Schedule and manage calendar events.
  • Assist in Corporate matters.
  • Manage relationships with all Company stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Strategic teams to ensure timely and effectively delivery of projects.
  • Prepare and revise written documents, reports and correspondence as required.
  • Assist with the review, upgrade and maintenance of operating policies and systems to assist   with the functionality of the Company’s business.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of staff training.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of all Company documents and records.
  • Be an exemplar of good professional and management conduct in respect of all aspects of the Company’s goals, values and ethos.

 
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

  • A First Degree in Management Studies or related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ hands-on Administrative experience
  • In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Proven strong management, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Positive, Optimistic, Dependable and can-do attitude
  • Effective listening skills, ability to sense and respond promptly to employee needs
  • A team player who’s both collaborative and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
