Job Summary

The Store Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that products are attractively displayed, properly stocked, accurately priced, and readily available to customers. The successful candidate will monitor product presentation and inventory levels, replenish shelves, maintain promotional displays, and assist in creating an organized and appealing shopping environment. The Store Merchandiser will also work closely with store management and sales teams to support sales targets and promote the company's products effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Arrange and display products according to company merchandising standards.
2. Ensure shelves, displays, and promotional areas are fully stocked and visually appealing.
3. Replenish products from the stockroom or warehouse as required.
4. Monitor product availability and identify low-stock or fast-moving items.
5. Check product prices, labels, promotional signage, and displays for accuracy.
6. Check products for damage, expiry dates, packaging issues, and proper presentation.
7. Set up promotional displays, seasonal displays, and in-store promotions.
8. Ensure products are positioned to maximize visibility and customer access.
9. Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
10. Report damaged, missing, expired, or slow-moving products to management.
11. Monitor competitor displays and product placement where required.
12. Assist with receiving and organizing merchandise.
13. Maintain clean, neat, and organized shelves, displays, and merchandising areas.
14. Assist customers in locating products and provide basic product information.
15. Work closely with sales representatives, supervisors, and store management.
16. Ensure promotional materials and point-of-sale displays are properly installed and maintained.
17. Assist with special promotions, product launches, and in-store events.
18. Follow company health, safety, and merchandising procedures.
19. Perform other duties assigned by management.
