JOB OVERVIEW: 

The Systems Analyst – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions is responsible for reviewing, developing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutions to support the organisation’s business operations. 

The role involves performing business analysis and systems development to ensure ERP functionality meets current and future requirements, preparing and maintaining system and user documentation, supporting system audits, developing dashboards and reports through data modelling and transformation, delivering user training, and working closely with ERP user departments and in-house ICT teams to recommend and implement optimal system solutions. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Supports, maintains and extends the ERP solution (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) 

2. D365 development customization and configuration 

3. Supports and maintains other enterprise applications such as Microsoft SharePoint and custom CRM application 

4. Performs data modelling, data transformation and develops custom reports, dashboards and analytics in Microsoft 

Power BI and SQL Server 

5. Collaborates with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications 

6. Designs and builds applications and other IT solutions aligned with business requirements 

7. Designs and builds RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions 

8. Ensures all custom solutions are fully integrable with D365 using APIs, data entities, and approved integration 

frameworks 

9. Troubleshoots application issues, performs root‑cause analysis, and deploys timely fixes 

10. Works with the ICT infrastructure team to support upgrades, patches, testing cycles, and change management 

11. Prepares and maintains user and system documentation 

12. Ensures data accuracy, system security, and compliance with internal ICT standards 

13. Conducts training with end-users on application usage, as necessary 

14. Conducts regular research into emerging technology that can be employed to improve business operations 

15. Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field 

• Formal training and certification in D365 (or Dynamics AX) – Consultant, Solution Architect and/ or Developer 

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar position in systems development and working with Microsoft 

Dynamics 365/Dynamics AX, data modelling and reporting 

• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, SQL and data modelling 

• Experience with Automation Tools such as Microsoft Power Automate 

• Experience in C#, X++, .NET, JavaScript, or similar languages 

• Knowledge of Food and Feed Manufacturing operations and ERP integration requirements is desirable 

• Familiarity with REST APIs, integration frameworks, and cloud services (Azure preferred) 

• Project management skills: familiarity working with Agile project management tools (e.g. Trello or Jira) and agile principles 

• A working knowledge of Excel and use of basic formulas and formatting 

• Ability to build and maintain key relationships 

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions 

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
