Summary
A confidential energy services client is building a candidate pool for upcoming contingent labour and manpower opportunities across Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and partially Suriname. Successful applicants may be considered for project-based, rotational, contract, temporary, or contingent assignments based on experience, availability, and client requirements.

 

The Wireline Operator will support wireline field operations by preparing, rigging up, operating, maintaining, and demobilizing wireline tools, cables, units, and related equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with wireline job preparation, rig-up, operation, and rig-down.

• Prepare wireline tools, cables, pressure control equipment, and accessories.

• Support downhole logging, perforating, setting, retrieval, or well intervention activities where required.

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, cleaning, and equipment readiness checks.

• Monitor equipment and communicate operational concerns.

• Complete job documentation and equipment records.

• Follow wellsite, pressure control, radiation, explosives, and HSE procedures where applicable.

 

Requirements

• Previous wireline, slickline, well intervention, oilfield services, or field operations experience.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely around pressure equipment.

• Willingness to work offshore, onshore, shifts, and rotational schedules.

• Ability to follow technical procedures.

• Relevant experience and certifications must be clearly stated on the CV or uploaded with the application where available.

 

Preferred

• Experience with e-line, slickline, pressure control, logging, perforating, or downhole tools.
