Description
BLOW MOLDER OPERATOR TECHNICIAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The primary objectives are to maximize machine operating time.
- Must be able to perform proper start-ups in a timely manner, as well as ensuring the machines are shut down properly.
- Includes mold change (installing molds, adjusting air conveyors, calibrations etc.).
- Capable of trouble shooting on start up to assess for any initial issues, as well as during the production run e.g. the cycling and temperatures don’t exceed the required specifications.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and fix breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime.
- Monitoring of compressors to ensure they are meeting the required air pressure for the blow molder.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess for the minimum process plant certification or the equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar environment.
- Proper communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
