Job Title: Personnel Support Specialist

Location: Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago
 
Description:
We are seeking a qualified Personnel Support Specialist to support our Human Resources Department.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the posting of job vacancies and sourcing of qualified candidates.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Coordinate new hire orientation sessions, prepare and distribute onboarding materials, and assist in processing new hire paperwork.
  • HR Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Assist in the organizing and filing of personnel documents.
  • Benefits Administration Support: Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefit programs and aid in the enrollment process.
  • Employee Relations Assistance: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR Department, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
 
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent certifications in HR Management, Business Management or Tax Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Best HR Practices and basic employment laws.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxation procedures is a plus.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
