Job Purpose:
As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible in understanding of the total administration and systems as well as interfaces with the business, to implement administrative system changes, and processes. Also, you will handle a range of activities but within a limited and well-defined area of responsibility, often requiring variation and adaptationYou will also work within a variety of well-defined procedures and practices. Supervised on progress and results; informs management about analysis outcomes. Works autonomously within this scope, with regular steer required e.g., on project scope and prioritization. May coach less experienced colleagues. And advise internal stakeholders on topics related to defined area of responsibility.
Other accountabilities:
- Integrated Demand Plan by making demand for Supply Chain resources (materials, people, logistics resources, services, contracts, etc.) visible through collaboration with Supply Chain demand forecasting for non-activity driven demand.
- You will support translation of the SC Integrated Demand into a SC Capacity Plan to support the Asset business plan (availability/reliability, costs, and safety), highlight opportunities, risks, define mitigations and deliver “what-if” scenarios, make recommendations to be discussed at the Integrated Activity Planning and agree on solutions applying “enterprise first perspective”.
- Also, review progress of approved SC demand and Capacity Plan, perform gatekeeping on potential demand changes and drive for efficient solutions where changing priorities and available capacity clashes.
- Maintain an overview of available SC resources: capacity constraints, availability, utilization, and cost to drive optimization and right-sizing.
- Define and agree demand data requirements with internal customers in terms of granularity at relevant planning horizons, systems/tools for demand capture, timing of demand capture, etc.
- You will work with internal customers and perform gatekeeping to ensure that the demand plan is delivered on time with required granularity/quality as per agreed demand planning process.
- Responsible to balance integrated demand with planned supply and identify/act upon expected over- or/and underutilization of SC capacity.
- Provide reports to SC leadership for strategic decision making on contracting and provision of SC resources.
- You are also responsible in analyzing historical variances in actual demand versus plan, understand root causes and uncertainties in the demand forecast and drive continuous improvement.
- Review progress of the approved plan, opportunities, identify threats and agree remedial actions.
- Manage SC Demand and Capacity planning process performance and provide regular reporting on agreed KPI’s (e.g., plan vs actual, demand change statistics, capacity forecast accuracy) including actionable root cause to the SC LT and relevant cross functional forums
- Strong continuous improvement mindset providing Support the SC Planning manager in identifying and driving improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. Able to manage and analyze significant amounts of data
- Support as necessary data improvement initiatives. Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform would be a strength.
- Able to understand the business activities, interpret business demand and translate this into SC demand to deliver a safe and rationalized SC Demand Plan balancing costs and agreed service level
- Able to understand the customers organization and business targets and translate them into SC goals, demonstrating strong end to end process management thinking.

- At least 3 (three) years working experience in accounting, financial reporting background in Oil and Gas, Logistics, Aviation, Transportation Industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Engineering, or any field related is required
- Candidate must be knowledgeable in SAP, data analytics, Microsoft power platform, Excel, PowerBI
