Reports To: Senior Manager- Marketing & Communication
Premise:
This role has been created primarily to catalyse KEY PARTNERS acquisition and retention.
This involves:
- The creation of a methodology for identification of these Key partners.
- The recommendation and refinement of the offers/products that will serve to entice/retain them
- Engaging Key partners in person (through your own travel) and through all professionally suitable forms of communication
- Ensuring that Key partners engage the Company's products and services
- Collecting and presenting feedback from these Key partners
- Constantly refining the above with the information gained from feedback and experience

At all times it should be the aim of the officer to increase the esteem and professional perception of The Company to the entire community.
This objective can only be accomplished by the officer himself/herself embodying the professional disposition for which the Company brand stands, at all times.
Continuity of our relationships with all partners must be a clear focus of the officer.
These relationships must transcend the officer and be attached the Company's brand directly, such that any representative of the Company may contact them seamlessly in the future.
Reporting, Structure and Department
With focus on partner acquisition and retention, this role is directly under the purview of Marketing.
This role shall report directly to the Senior Manager- Marketing & Communications, and utlimately to the General Manager.
Though essentially a Marketing role, there is clear need to work synergistically with Operations (primarily) in order to fulfil the stated objectives.
In all interactions with departments, the Officer will communicate directly with Managers to ensure clear communication and timely responses to requests.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Design and modify template corporate communication letters and documents for standardised communication with Key customers.
- Keep detailed, clear and concise electronic records of persons and companies reached and contacted such that any new officer may use them in the future
- Provide weekly progress reports which contain achievements versus a set target (decided in consulatation with your manager monthly in advance)
- Constant search for and development of any other actions which fulfil the guiding philosophy and premise of the role
The first task for the officer will be to create a strategic plan for targeting and attracting the intended key partner relationships. The design of this document should begin on day one through observation and follow throughout the initial training phase.
This role requires the officer to be intimately familiar with the Company.
In particular:
- The full Customer Journey
- The range of products and services the Company offers
- The list of companies the Company has relationships/partners with both in the past and at present
- The value drivers of the Company
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Communications related disciplines and/or suitable combination of education and experience in Customer and Corporate Relationship Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project management qualifications and/or experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and applicability of Health and Safety practices (OSHA Training beneficial)
- Valid Driver's Permit & Reliable working vehicle
