Description
Job Purpose:
The Environmental Sanitation Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications:
- 5 CXC passes including Maths and English.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sanitation and a supervisory role.
- Degree or certification in a related field is an asset.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and enforce outdoor sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with Company standards, food safety standards and health and safety requirements.
- Establish and maintain sanitation schedules for areas like loading docks, parking lots, and storage spaces to prevent debris and unsanitary conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas, including waste storage, drainage, and surrounding grounds, to ensure they meet cleanliness and environmental standards
- Train employees on proper sanitation practices, waste handling, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
