DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Onboarding & Data management
- Collect and update new employee details (Bank Account, Address, PAYE numbers etc.)
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HR and Payroll systems.
- Liaise with supervisors or managers to ensure the accuracy and validity of timesheet data.
- Track and Manage employee annual leave (Annual, Sick, Vacation)
- Assist with payroll processing tasks, including adding new employees to the payroll system
- Ensure overtime compensation is calculated correctly and in line with company policies.
- Generate and distribute payslips via the payroll system and electronic channels.
- Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Perform all payroll-related tasks ahead of pay run to ensure timely compensation for staff.
- Ensure that all mandatory and optional deductions (e.g. Taxes, NIS are processed accurately)
- Confirm compliance with legal and company specific payroll regulations.
- Provide general office support, including filing, documentation, and scheduling.
- Assist with various administrative tasks across departments as needed.
- Support Accounts Payable and Receivable.
ACCREDITATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 CXC Passes
- Accounts & Taxation Certificates
- 5 Years ‘or more Experience in Similar Position
