Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Software Projects)

Location: Port of Spain, St. Ann's, Trinidad and Tobago

Overview:
As a Technical Business Analyst (Software Projects) at Quoviz Consulting Limited, you will act as a bridge between clients, project stakeholders, and the technical team. You will gather and translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications, facilitate communication across teams, and ensure the seamless delivery of software projects. This role demands a proactive individual with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent collaboration skills, and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Requirement Gathering & Translation:
    • Collaborate with clients to capture and convert business needs into functional specifications or technical requirements.
    • Act as a consultant to prospective clients, suggesting innovative solutions to address their pain points.
  • Feasibility Analysis & Solution Planning:
    • Conduct functional and technical feasibility studies for new products and services.
  • Process Documentation & Change Management:
    • Prepare business process flows and prototype requirements by generating wireframes.
    • Create requirement documents and user stories for the programming team.
    • Develop Delta (change requirement) documents and manage the change control process.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Internal Coordination:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding product features.
    • Collaborate with design and development teams to meet project milestones and tollgates.
    • Work closely with clients to ensure requirements are realistic and clearly communicated.
    • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure the team stays on track with timelines.
  • Risk Analysis & Testing Oversight:
    • Analyze and report key risks during requirement documentation and testing phases.
    • Participate in testing processes, to validate feature implementation aligns with requirements.
 
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields (or equivalent experience):
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Business Administration
    • Software Engineering
    • Management Information Systems
  • Experience in a similar role, such as Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, Solutions Consultant, Project Team Lead, Programmer, or Project Manager
  • Expertise in working closely with developers, and clients to create and prioritize test plans.
  • Sound knowledge of testing methods, strategies, and tools for web apps, mobile apps, and APIs.
  • Ability to analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions effectively.
  • Passion for technology and software quality, with a strong desire for continuous learning about new tools, technologies, and software delivery practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
