Job Title: Business Development and Marketing Manager

Reporting Line: General Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Development and Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives and business development activities. This role involves overseeing the marketing team, developing business strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to achieve the company’s strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
    • Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote the company’s products and services.
    • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage the marketing team, providing direction and support to achieve departmental goals.
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the marketing team, including campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
    • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
    • Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to stay competitive.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing and sales strategies and achieve business objectives.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development and marketing efforts.
    • Regularly report on performance metrics to the General Manager and executive team.
    • Adjust strategies and plans based on performance data and feedback.

Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Prerequisites:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related field. Strong track record of driving business growth and managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, strategic thinking, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
