SUMMARY:
To assist in the delivery and collection of the Company’s assets in a safe and timely manner
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direction, the employees’ duties include but are not limited to the following-
- Assist in loading trucks with the Company’s goods for sale to customers accurately, safely and logically. This in most cases is done after regular work hours in preparation for next day delivery. Must be able to work overtime during the week and Saturdays if needed.
- Driving with reasonable care and attention the assigned vehicle and following the instructions of the supervisor/dispatcher regarding routes, schedules, etc. Performing daily checks on vehicle assigned and completing the truck checklist given by the security.
- Taking care of the assigned vehicle and reporting any problems with it immediately. This includes washing of vehicles as often as needed.
- Perform operation with urgency and efficiency adhering to deadlines and securing deliveries.
- Assist in offloading trucks at Customers ensuring accuracy and expediency is adhered to.
- Deliver goods to Tobago on a rotation basis
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- At least twenty five (25) years old
- A valid, suitable driver’s license – Class 4
