Job Summary
- Sound understanding of the standard operating procedures manual, test methods manuals and all appropriate technical/operational protocols.
- Responsible for timely and proper sample receipt, sample handling, analyses, disposal and other management tasks.
- Responsible for ensuring all the essential laboratory functions are completed on a daily basis.
- Ensures effective planning, workload delegation, resource management inclusive of inventory management, procurement and personnel.
- Ensures all Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the standard operating procedures, test methods and Accreditation Standard are executed in all areas of operations.

- University degree in the field of Natural Sciences or equivalent
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 17025 standards
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar portfolio
- Project / Operations Management Training
- Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Any other relevant combination of education, experience and training would be considered
