Human Resources Officer
Position Summary:
To assist with supporting the Human Resources Function within the organization such as the update and maintenance of the HRIS Database and ensuring all reports related to headcount, reporting and punctuality are maintained, along with general HR Administration, Benefits administration, Recruitment and the maintenance of employee records.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide overall day-to-day administrative support for the Human Resource function, including follow- up for all HR enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with handling all HR/IR Matters under the guidance of the Manager.
- Monitor leave, late, absence, headcount for all departments in a keeping with the company’s policy, prepare monthly reports, meet with Managers where there are breaches and advise and assist with the relevant documentation. Escalate outstanding matters to the Manager to address.
- Maintain monthly HR/IR reports and statistics.
- Prepare and maintain all employee files and keep records up-to-date.
- Ensure the maintenance and management of KPI reviews for probationers and all staff is completed in a timely manner to ensure the administrative process is in keeping with company and industry standards
Education and Experience
- B.Sc. in Business Management or an Advanced Diploma in ABE or Business Administration
- At least (3-5) years’ in a similar position
- Industrial Relations Certification and Training would be an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Must be highly detail oriented and organized.
- The ability to coordinate information from various areas and provide support and guidance to the function as necessary.
- Effective communication skills, including verbal and written skills.
- The ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team-based environment.
