A Leading Information Technology Provider is seeking applicants for the position of:

Service Desk Assistant
 
Position Summary:  
To assist the Service Desk Co-ordinator with the delivery parts procurement, escalation and service support to customers and vendors.  Also, assist in managing the Service Desk and the coordination of the general operations.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Log all calls and ensure the register is kept up-to-date.
  •  Coordinate and complete the parts return process.
  • Follow up on all calls and cases internally to ensure completion/closure
  •  Assist with items as guided and directed by the Service Desk Coordinator
  • Coordinate the general Administrative Operations of the Service Desk
  • Provide relevant reports as they relate to the administrative function as requested.
  • Act on behalf of the Service Desk Coordinator when he/she is absent or unavailable.
 
Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
  • At least 2-5 years’ experience in a diverse computerized environment.
 
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently
  • The ability to multitask
