Project Assistant
Position Summary:
Provide the necessary support with planning, management and scheduling of projects to the Project Manager and the relevant Teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of projects.
- Help in coordinating and managing project tasks and deliverables.
- Track project progress and report any issues to the Project Manager.
- Attend project meetings and take minutes.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare information for reporting.
- coordinate with team members and stakeholders to keep project timeline on schedule.
- Maintain project documentation/records for reference purposes.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and/or Administrative Certification such as Association of Business Executives (ABE) would be an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong Administrative skills.
- Strong communications skills: written and verbal.
- The ability to complete comprehensive reports.
