Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist drives and executes the organization’s human resources by planning and implementing employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices. This position reports directly to the CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring.
- Develop and Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance management system, providing support to managers and employees throughout the process.
- Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and employee development strategies.
Policies & Compliance:
- Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop new Company policies and procedures as needed.
- Maintain and update all HR-related documents and systems as needed.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Advise on and resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts and performance-related matters.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other benefits.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
- Facilitate internal training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
HR Reporting & Metrics:
- Track and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
- Prepare and present HR reports to the CEO and executive team as required.
Other:
- Stay current with HR trends and best practices, integrating new approaches to enhance business operations.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Lead various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Self-driven and motivated to work independently.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in HR software/systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
