Core Discipline: Fleet Maintenance & Management
Reports to: Director & Senior Management Team
Direct reports: Supervisor, Mechanics, Wash Bay Attendants, Cleaner, Stores Clerk, Drivers
Job Purpose:
Oversee overall function and management of the Automotive Division inclusive of facility management Champion and Action
HSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & PLAN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Automotive Division
- Enforce and uphold HSE regulations
- Continually assess the workplace to understand risks and minimise exposure to personnel, plant and equipment.
- Perform required administration associate with the role
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders on different platforms
- Schedule vehicle repairs in compliance with OEM & contractual obligations
- Procure necessary parts and consumables required for the efficient flow of work
- Conduct accident and incident investigations and generate reports
- Manage HR for the division in keeping with company policy
- Maintain premises to required standards and in compliance with the OSH Act
- Be on call for vehicle emergencies and breakdowns
- Any other duties as assigned by the Directors
