The Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining long-term trusting relationships with our customers, developing new business from existing clients, while actively seeking and identifying new sales opportunities.
 
Job Summary: The Sales Representative will support the Sales Department by promoting their products to new and existing customers in order to increase sales. In this position, the Sales Representative will be responsible to the Sales and Marketing Director and by extension the Directors.
 
Job Duties:
  • Promoting and selling the company’s array of products to new and existing customers
  • Making cold calls to new and existing customers to increases sales.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients, addressing their specific needs and demonstrating how our products meet those needs
  • Introduce new products by providing the available brochure to customers during visits
  • Communicate promotional offers to customers on every visit
  • Regularly meeting with both new and existing customers to understand their purchasing requirements and increase sales.
  • Ensuring compliance with Company policies in performing his or her duties to potential and existing customers.
  • Reporting to the Representative’s direct manager, as well as the Board of Directors, on matters concerning customers which impact sales.
  • Submitting weekly sales reports to the Board with key emphasis on sales opportunities/niche markets and new clientele.
  • Having regular sales meetings with Directors
  • Performing tasks analogous to the foregoing.

  • Must have CAPE passes, however, degree in sales/marketing or any related discipline would be an asset
  • A minimum of 3-5 years sales experience within a similar industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
