JOB TITLE: Financial Reporting Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide assistance to the Finance Department as it relates to financial accounting and reporting.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for preparation and timely submission of quarterly, annual and ad hoc Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago reports.
- Responsible for preparation and timely submission of management reports to various departments.
- Analyse and prepare required reports to assist management in their day-to-day operations.
- Assist with quarterly reporting requirements as it relates to IFRS 17.
- Manage new report generation and report enhancement based on the change requests.
- Extraction, review and editing of financial reports from Gims system.
- Assist with the preparation of the group reporting package.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual IFRS financial statements.
- Assist with the preparation, review and filing of monthly journal entries
- Preparation and review of monthly reports and audit schedules
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure that quality reports are delivered in a timely and accurate manner particularly as it relates to regulatory requirements.
- Any other duties as may be required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Education and Experience:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification or working towards same
- At least two (2) years relevant experience or a minimum of five (5) years experience within the General Insurance industry
- Good understanding of current applications GIMS
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets and word processing.
