Description

1. Responsible for preparation and timely submission of quarterly, annual and ad hoc Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago reports.
2. Responsible for preparation and timely submission of management reports to various departments.
3. Analyse and prepare required reports to assist management in their day-to-day operations.
4. Assist with quarterly reporting requirements as it relates to IFRS 17.
5. Manage new report generation and report enhancement based on the change requests.
6. Extraction, review and editing of financial reports from Gims system.
7. Assist with the preparation of the group reporting package.
8. Assist with the preparation of the annual IFRS financial statements.
9. Assist with the preparation, review and filing of monthly journal entries
10. Preparation and review of monthly reports and audit schedules
11. Assist with internal and external audits.
12. Ensure that quality reports are delivered in a timely and accurate manner particularly as it relates to regulatory requirements.
13. Any other duties as may be required.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification or working towards same
• At least two (2) years relevant experience or a minimum of five (5) years experience within the General Insurance industry
• Good understanding of current applications GIMS
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets and word processing.
