The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chemist in ensuring the quality standards established are maintained, assisting in product testing, and the establishment of new quality assurance polices and procedures.
Requirements:
- BSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology or any science related field
- Strong interest in laboratory work and quality control processes
- 0-2 years work experience; prior lab experience (e.g. school lab or internship) would be an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- A valid Trinidad and Tobago driving license and use of a vehicle in good working condition would be an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills and effective time management
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Detail-oriented, problem solving skills, record-keeping skills.
- Punctual, reliable, ensure high quality of work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
