12/13/2025The incumbent is required to carry out various transactions, ensuring that packages/items are picked up and delivered to their intended destination in a timely and safe manner. These duties are both from the store and/or from the Director’s home. Ensuring adherence to road safety and traffic laws, as well as any safety measures identified by the company's health and safety protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
1. Picking up packages from the sender.
2. Delivering packages to the recipient.
3. Conducting bank and other financial transactions on behalf of the company
4. Taking responsibility for high-value or confidential items.
5. To effectively plan routes and save time, punctuality is a must.
6. Accepting payments for items if necessary.
7. Purchasing ad hoc items required by the director.
8. Adhere to any special delivery requirements.
9. Assist with deliveries to and from the directors’ home.
10. Transporting senior management and staff as needed
11. Adherence to all aspects of the Company Vehicle Policy
12. Adherence to all HSE and road safety guidelines
13. Assist with duties assigned at the store when there is downtime for delivery.
Requirements
• At least five (5) CXC passes.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field
• Highly organised
• Able to adhere to deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Defensive driving will be an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff in the organisation.
• Valid driver’s licences
