Job Summary
The Digital Content & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of the company’s social media presence and digital content initiatives. This role focuses on content creation, basic graphic design and video editing, and the day-to-day management of social media platforms to ensure consistent brand visibility and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
• Schedule and publish content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and general engagement in a timely manner
• Assist with the execution of social media campaigns, including boosted posts and promotions
Content Creation
• Develop basic graphic assets for social media posts and digital campaigns
• Edit short-form video content (e.g. reels, stories, TikTok videos)
• Capture photo and video content using mobile devices or basic equipment as required
Content Coordination
• Maintain and update the social media content calendar
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather content for campaigns, promotions, and events
• Ensure all content aligns with established brand guidelines
• Work with external suppliers when required for website and digital content which includes videography for events
Reporting & Analytics
• Track and report on basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth
• Assist in the preparation of monthly marketing reports
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 2-4years’ experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
• Relevant certification or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred)
• Demonstrated portfolio of content creation (graphics and/or video editing)
Skills & Competencies
• Basic graphic design skills
• Basic video editing skills for short-form content
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to follow creative direction and work collaboratively
• Attention to detail and brand consistency
Technical Skill Requirements
• Adobe Illustrator (basic working knowledge)
• Adobe Photoshop (optional)
• Canva (required)
• CapCut or similar video editing software
• Meta Business Suite
• Google Ads (campaign set up and monitoring)
