Job Summary

The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for overseeing environmental compliance, monitoring activities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards within water treatment operations. The role supports safe, sustainable operations while minimizing environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company policies

Monitor water treatment processes to ensure environmental standards are met

Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental risk assessments

Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities as required

Oversee waste management, effluent discharge, and pollution control measures

Lead investigations into environmental incidents and implement corrective actions

Provide environmental training and guidance to operational staff

Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders when necessary

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in environmental supervision, preferably within water treatment or industrial operations

Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance requirements

Experience with environmental monitoring, reporting, and audits

Good leadership and communication skills
