JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant is generally accountable for the provision of executive secretarial and related services in support of the office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Receives, responds to and dispatches all correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
• Assists in preparation of requisitions for the office of the CEO.
• Assists in the research, co-ordination and production of projects, reports and proposals.
• Receives and screens incoming calls and visitors directed to the office of the CEO.
• Distributes and follows up correspondence addressed to Managers and other staff.
• Organizes all foreign travel on behalf of the CEO.
• Attends management and other meetings and take minutes as directed by the CEO.
• Develop and maintain a filing system to ensure easy retrieval of documents.
• Schedules appointments and make necessary arrangement for meetings.
• Maintain a supply of office stationery and grocery supplies to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
• Provides other job-related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certified Professional Secretary or Administrative Professional Secretary Diploma.
• Five (5) CXC/GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years' experience in a similar service support position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Sound oral and writing skills.
• Good logistics and time management skills.
• Sound working knowledge of computers.
