Position Title: ICT Administrator
Target Entities: Climate Control Limited & Servair Limited
Location: Trinidad & Tobago (Supporting main offices & branch locations)
Employment Type: Full-Time (with scheduled off-hours maintenance windows)
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and versatile ICT Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the technology infrastructure across two affiliated corporate entities: Climate Control Limited and Servair Limited.
Crucially, while both companies share collaborative leadership, each organization operates completely independent, separate IT infrastructures—including distinct Active Directory domains, storage appliances, firewalls, and network configurations. The successful candidate will act as the single dedicated IT administrator responsible for ensuring peak operational availability, robust data security, and seamless support across both environments.
End-User & System Support: Deliver comprehensive physical and remote desktop support for Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, Rackspace hosted email, line-of-business ERP (Microsoft Dynamics), and peripheral devices across both companies.
Server & Virtualization Administration: Maintain and optimize physical host servers and virtual servers running Hyper-V and TrueNAS Scale. Manage Active Directory domains, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), file shares, storage quotas, and security permissions.
Network & Security Operations: Administer TP-Link Omada networking infrastructure (routers/gateways, managed switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi access points), VLAN segmentation, and network management controllers. Maintain remote-access VPN services across main offices and remote branch locations.
Disaster Recovery & Backups: Manage automated cumulative backups (Altaro / Hornetsecurity), verify off-site cross-facility replication, and conduct mandatory monthly test-restores to guarantee business continuity.
Telephony & Communications: Administer IP PBX telephony systems, ring groups, IVR automated attendants, and inter-branch call distribution routing.
Maintenance & Sourcing: Perform critical server patching, firewall reboots, and storage adjustments outside standard working hours to eliminate daytime downtime. Research, test, and procure IT equipment, supplies, and replacement parts.
Proven hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or ICT Support Specialist managing on-premise and hybrid business environments.
Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory domain management, GPO design, and foundational Linux OS commands.
Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization and network-attached storage architectures (TrueNAS / ZFS).
Solid understanding of enterprise networking: TP-Link Omada ecosystem, VLANs, subnetting, DHCP/DNS, Dynamic DNS, and client/site-to-site VPNs.
Experience managing automated backup platforms (Altaro, Veeam, or equivalent) and executing bare-metal/file disaster recovery.
Practical familiarity troubleshooting ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics) and business accounting printer configurations is an asset.
Demonstrated commitment and availability to conduct planned off-hours maintenance windows and handle urgent disaster recovery scenarios when needed.
