The Inventory Clearance & Optimization Specialist will lead a focused initiative to analyse, repurpose, and sell aged or obsolete stock. This role is critical in unlocking tied-up capital, improving cash flow, and supporting the overall financial health of our industrial distribution business. The ideal candidate is part strategist, part salesperson, and part execution responsibilities - they know how to move product, work with respect teams, and turn “dead stock” into value.

Key Duties & Responsibilites
Work with the finance team to review audit and classification of existing inventory, focusing on aging, obsolete, and excess stock
Work with the sales managers to develop and execute a comprehensive clearance strategy: discount campaigns, product bundling, reseller & export outreach, online liquidation channels
Coordinate marketing and sales promotions (email, web listings, sales team tools)
Work with warehouse and inventory teams to track movement and fulfilment
Build and maintain a database of potential buyers, including resellers, bulk buyers, and international clients
Recommend pricing strategies to maximize recovery value
Identify and implement inventory disposal, donation, or recycling options for non-sellable items
KPIs - Reduction in total aged inventory value (% per month) - Free cash flow - generated from clearance sales - Increase in warehouse space
