Job Description – Maintenance Manager
Position – Maintenance Manager
Department – Retail Operations & Head Office
Reports to – General Manager and Operations Manager
Role Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all company facilities, equipment and
assets are well-maintained, safe and operational. This includes overseeing maintenance at retail
locations and Head Office, managing company vehicles, coordinating event setups such as health
fair booths and implementing preventative maintenance schedules. The role requires strong
organizational skills, hands-on technical expertise and the ability to lead a small team or
coordinate with contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Infrastructure
- Oversee routine and preventative maintenance for retail stores, offices and external areas
such as car parks
- Manage cleaning and upkeep of car parks and common areas to ensure a professional,
safe environment
- Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance needs promptly
Company Vehicles
- Manage servicing, repairs and general upkeep of company cars to ensure reliability and
safety
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance schedules and fuel logs
Event Support
- Organize, transport and set up booths and displays for Health Fairs, employee wellness
events and other company activities
- Coordinate logistics, ensuring equipment is functional and safely installed
Preventative Maintenance
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for facilities, equipment
and vehicles
- Minimize downtime and unexpected breakdowns through proactive inspections and
timely interventions
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Liaise with external service providers for specialized repairs, cleaning services and major
projects
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations across all facilities
- Conduct safety checks and implement corrective measures where needed
Quantifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role
- Technical knowledge of building systems, electrical, plumbing and mechanical
equipment
- Experience in fleet management and vendor coordination
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across multiple locations
- Valid driver’s license
