Business Development & Fundraising

  • ·       Identify and cultivate a pipeline of new partners, sponsors, and individual donors.
  • ·       Pitch road safety initiatives and sponsorship packages to C-suite executives and CSR committees.
  • ·       Research new opportunities in line with the NGO mission and draft proposals to garner support from local and international bodies.
  • ·       Cement existing donor relationships.
  • ·       Maintain meticulous records of donor interactions through the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and increased conversion.
  • ·       Ensure follow-through on donor agreements and services.
  • ·       Develop and execute an annual fundraising strategy.
  • ·       Meet measurable KPIs and revenue targets.
  • ·       Analyze and report on fundraising performance by providing monthly reports on pipeline health, conversion rates, and ROI of various sponsorship packages.
  • ·       Stay updated on local and global Corporate Social Responsibility trends to pivot pitching strategies effectively.

Marketing & Communications

  • ·       Design and execute monthly newsletters, highlighting NGO initiatives and strides made in road safety.
  • ·       Ensure all external communications align with advocacy goals.
  • ·       Track engagement metrics to optimize reach and conversion for fundraising campaigns.

Operations Support

  • ·       Work alongside the team during the execution of the annual Road Safety Awards for First Responders and The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
  • ·       Represent the NPO at networking events such as meetings, industry conferences, and high-level sessions.
  • ·       Operate within the NPO’s Donor Acceptance framework and related processes in close partnership with the Compliance Lead.

Reporting

  • ·       Prepare monthly progress reports for the Board of Directors.

Experience & Skills

·       Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum 3–5 years in a sales or business development role. Experience in the NGO sector, specifically in donor relations or fundraising, would be a significant asset.

·       Communication Excellence: Exceptional public speaking, pitching, and professional writing skills.

·       Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, social media, and management tools.

·       Strategic Thinking: Ability to turn road safety data into compelling stories of impact that resonate with donors.
