We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operational execution permanently. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee the seamless integration of supply chain logistics, warehouse inventory, field installation scheduling, and technical resource allocation.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in project or operational management preferably within engineering, construction, or technical services. This candidate excels at streamlining processes, enforcing high standards of quality control, and ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Operational Leadership & Workflow Optimization: Direct daily operational activities across engineering deployment, field installation crews, and warehouse logistics to maximize productivity and eliminate bottlenecks.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, tracking, and stock management of solar panels, inverters, racking systems, battery storage units, and balance-of-system components to support active project pipelines.
Resource & Schedule Coordination: Manage scheduling and deployment for field technicians and engineering teams, ensuring optimal allocation of labor, transport, and equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial sites throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
Quality Assurance & Safety Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, internal quality frameworks, and local utility/electrical codes to maintain RESSCOTT's zero-failure operational standard.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a core link between executive leadership, sales, engineering design teams, and field execution crews to ensure project specifications are accurately translated into field success.
Process Standardization: Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory tracking, equipment maintenance, asset deployment, and project handover.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in an operations management, project management, or senior logistics role, ideally within the renewable energy, construction, electrical, or heavy technical service sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel), ERP/inventory management software, and digital scheduling tools.
