Atlantic, a leading company in the energy sector, invites suitably qualified nationals to participate in our Operator and Maintenance Trainee Programmes.

These three-year development programmes are designed to equip trainees with the technical competencies, practical experience and professional capabilities required to build successful careers and perform effectively in their respective disciplines within the energy industry.

Job Purpose:

The Operator Trainee will be involved in a training programme to gain the qualifications, skills, and behaviours to become a competent Operator Technician within the energy sector.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Process Plant Operator Certificate (PPO) from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT)
  AND
• Passing grades in CSEC (General Proficiency) in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry / Physics.

OR

• A Process Plant Operator Certificate (PPO) from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT)
  AND
• Achievement of any of the following preparatory programmes from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT):
  • Certificate in Applied Engineering (CAE)
  • Pre-University Programme (PUP)
  • Pre-Engineering or transition programmes

Applicants must:

• have graduated in 2024 or 2025 or have successfully completed their diploma by July, 2026.
• have no more than two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• be a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago.
