A diversified Caribbean business group is seeking a proactive, organised, and resourceful Project & Operations Coordinator to support our senior project lead in driving projects from planning through to successful completion.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, thrives on responsibility, and ensures that tasks are completed efficiently and on time. We are looking for a dependable individual who anticipates challenges, follows through on commitments, and takes pride in getting things done.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate projects, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to keep activities on track.
  • Monitor deadlines, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and outstanding actions.
  • Proactively follow up on tasks, address delays, and help keep projects moving forward.
  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and progress reports.
  • Identify potential risks, recommend practical solutions, and escalate matters requiring management decisions.
  • Support site visits, project implementation, and operational activities across our Caribbean businesses.
  • Ensure clear communication and accountability among all stakeholders.

REQIOTREMENTS:

  • Ideally, 2–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, procurement, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and digital task-management tools.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset, sound judgement, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following tasks through to completion.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and provide occasional support outside normal working hours when required.
