Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is seeking to hire a Senior Laboratory Analyst to join our team.
Job Purpose:
To manage, coordinate and provide quality testing in the Inorganics Laboratory (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity).

To manage, coordinate and provide quality testing in the Inorganics Laboratory (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for performing all assigned analytical tests under the Inorganics Lab, glassware, reagent and inventory management
- Directly responsible for managing and coordinating daily testing schedules in order to meet quality and timeline objectives
- Responsible for the proper use, care, troubleshooting and maintenance of all equipment housed in Inorganics (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity Labs) and providing supervision to junior staff
Requirements:
- University degree in Analytical or Organic Chemistry or the field of Natural Sciences or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Any other relevant combination of education, experience and training would be considered in related field.
- Excellent time management skills
- Has a good attitude and is self-motivated
- Commitment to quality work, accurate and articulate
