As a market leader, with significant growth opportunities, we are seeking an experienced Stores Clerk.  

The Stores Clerk is responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts and supplies required for the efficient operations and maintenance of the company’s fleet.

This role supports the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator and Garage team by ensuring timely and accurate stock control, and effective documentation of all inventory-related activities. The Stores Clerk must comply with all Company's Policies and Procedures governing the position. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using barcoding and tracking systems.
  • Issue parts and supplies based on approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure stockroom in compliance with HS&E standards.
  • Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations for required parts.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain a database of approved suppliers and frequently used parts.
  • Support the preparation of purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to ensure availability of parts for scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
  • Track usage of parts and update maintenance logs accordingly.
  • Assist in preparing reports on inventory usage, stock levels, and procurement efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5 CXC/GCE O’Level passes including Mathematics and English.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Inventory Management, or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Stores or Inventory Control role, preferably in a fleet or automotive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  •  Attention to detail and accuracy.
