Key responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair: Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems, then perform necessary repairs or replacements using hand and power tools.

• Routine maintenance: Conduct schedule maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrications, fluid checks, and tune-ups, to ensure the motorcycle runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Engine work: Dismantle, rebuild, and tune engines, following manufacturer’s guides and service manuals.

• Tire service: Mount, balance, change, and check the pressure if tires.

• Electrical work: Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems, which can be complex.

• Customization: Perform custom work on motorcycles based on owner requirements.

Essential skills and qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Proficiency with a variety of tools, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interpret service manuals and technical data.
• Strong communication skills to explain issues and estimates to customers.
• Physical ability to lift motorcycles and work in positions like bending and stoping.
