Role Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the main warehouse, lumber and steel yard, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient handling of goods, and timely order fulfilment to support business operations and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and proper stock control

Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, replenishing, storage, picking, and dispatching
-
Ensure proper handling and storage of lumber and steel to minimise damage and loss
-
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-structured warehouse and yard environment
-
Ensure orders are picked accurately and delivered on time
-
Supervise and manage warehouse, yard, and delivery staff, ensuring productivity and discipline

Enforce health and safety standards throughout main warehouse, lumber and steel yard
-
Monitor and report on inventory variances, slow-moving stock, and delivery performance

Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and control

Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field

At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role

Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Working knowledge of inventory systems such as ERP or WMS
