Job Summary:
The Operations Assistant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of package flow, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company standards. This role involves leading teams, resolving operational issues, and optimizing logistics processes to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in receiving, dispatching, and managing package flow efficiently.
- Oversee delivery runs and coordinate driver movements to ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Work with HR to manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
Requirements:
