Description
The Catering Manager will lead all aspects of delivering a high-quality service including developing the menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

The Catering Manager responsibilities include maintaining the revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills, experience in both front and back of the house, setting work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health regulations.

Note: This role is located in South Trinidad

Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate daily food service operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  • Ensure compliance with HAACP, sanitation and health and safety regulations
  • Manage reputation and image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual inventory, revenues and expenses
  • Manage and deliver event orders with excellent service delivery
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience
 
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES
  • Proven work experience as a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar role
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Qualification in Culinary or related field
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Take responsibility for the business performance of the service
  • Analyse and plan food sales levels and profitability
  • Possession of a valid light motor vehicle license
  • Personnel shall be accountable for executing their duties in a safe manner.
